Dear Hoboken,
As I sit down to write this letter, my heart is filled with gratitude and warmth for the incredible journey we've shared together over the past eight years. From the moment I opened my small family-owned bakeshop in your vibrant city, I knew there was something special about this place and its people.
I want to express my deepest thanks for the unwavering support you've shown me, especially during the challenging times of the pandemic. Your kindness, loyalty, and encouragement have been the driving force behind my passion for baking and serving this community with love and dedication.
It has been an absolute joy and privilege to be a part of your celebrations and gatherings, to witness the smiles on your faces as you enjoy my cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. Each creation that leaves my oven carries a piece of my heart, and knowing that it brings joy to your special moments fills me with happiness and fulfillment beyond words.
Whether it's crafting custom birthday cakes, baking batches of cookies for local events, or simply sharing a sweet treat with a neighbor, every interaction with you, the residents of Hoboken, has been a blessing and a source of inspiration for me.
As I reflect on the journey we've taken together, I am filled with hope and excitement for the future. I look forward to continuing to serve you with the same passion, creativity, and dedication that has defined my bakeshop since day one.
However, amidst this gratitude, I cannot deny the fear that sometimes creeps into my heart when I think about the future. The uncertainties and challenges of running a small business especially in Hoboken, and the ever-changing landscape of our society can be overwhelming at times. But it is your unwavering support and the love I have for what I do that keeps me strong, resilient, and hopeful for the future.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for welcoming me into your community, for supporting my small family business, and for allowing me to share my love for baking with each and every one of you. Here's to many more years of sweetness, joy, and cherished memories together.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Tina Rivera
